Action against false rumours in social media on Qureshi’s health: Police Commissioner

Mangaluru, Apr 17, 2017 : City plice commissioner has warned  those who are sharing false messages on social media regarding Ahmed Qureshi’s haealth condition.

 

Addressing the press at Commissioner’s office  today April 17 ,Chandra Sekhar said stringent action will be taken on the trouble makers who are circulating  false rumours about Qureshi’s health within two days. The reports given by the Hospital  regarding his haelth will be submitted to the court . Some trouble mongers are trying to mislead the public. He  stated that the condition of the  arrested accused Qureshi is stable.

 

A departmental enquiry is underway.  They will be booked under section 505 (2) and 153 of the IPC, and Section 66 of the IT Act.
