Accident near Townhall, 2 seriously injured

Mangalore, June 7, 2011: A tempo hit a pedestrian and two auto rickshaws from behind, seriously injuring two people, at 6:30 p.m. near Townhall today.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One of the rickshaws, registered as KA 19 C 7563, is completely damaged and its driver Farooq  is seriously injured. He was rushed to Wenlock Hospital and is currently in the ICU there.  The pedestrian Vishwas is also seriously injured and is in the ICU of Wenlock Hospital.

The other rickshaw involved in the accident, registered as KA 19 1537, is escaped with minor damages. There is no information regarding the driver of the tempo responsible for this tragedy.
