Abhishek Goyal transferred; Shantanu Sinha to be new SP

Mangalore, Sep 25, 2013: District Superintendent of Police Abhishek Goyal has been transferred. He will be replaced by  Shantanu Sinha, a 2009 batch IPS officer as the new SP. Goyal has been posted as Lokayukta SP of Bangalore.

Shantanu Sinha who hails from New Delhi, is an engineer by qualification.After successfully passing out the IPS exams, he served in Shimoga as a probationary officer and then as ASP of Channapatna sub-division in Ramanagaram district. He has even served as DCP ( Law and Order) of Mysore.
