
Mangalore, June 23, 2012: Four students of AIMIT, St. Aloysius College (autonomous), have turned out to be among the top ten students who took part in the National Creativity Aptitude Test conducted by International Forum for Excellence in Higher Education (IFEHE) in Delhi.

Over 10,000 engineering, science, and management students from all over India took part in this test. Separate tests were held for students at various levels of their degree education. The test was conducted in two rounds, and the first round was held at the college level. Four top students from AIMIT qualified for round two, which was held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Delhi, in which students from over 75 colleges took part.
AIMIT students Blandina Jyothsna Fernandes of II MCA got the second rank and a cash prize of Rs. 15,000; Prakyath K. V. of I MCA got the fourth rank; Randeep B. of II MCA got the eighth rank; and Laksmeesh Venkatramana Hegde of I MSc (software technology) got the ninth rank. All these students are now qualified for the Residential IIT Certificate Course, which will be held for one week at IIT Delhi.
