AI hands over victims’ belongings to kin

Mangalore, December 12: Chellam Prasad, the Mangalore station manager of Air India, informed reporters that the Kenyan International, which prepared a catalogue of gold ornaments and other belongings recovered at the site of the air crash of May 22, handed over the same to the families of the kin at Ocean Pearl Hotel on Dec 11, Saturday.

She said that the kin of the victims had to provide details so that they could be matched with the catalogue. The items were handed over to the victims’ families in the presence of concerned authorities.

She requested journalists not to take photographs as it might be unpleasant for the kin.
