A 24-year-old youth electrocuted at Alevoor

Udupi, Jul 22, 2013: A 24-year-old youth at Alevoor was electrocuted by high-tension wire on July 22, Monday.

The incident occurred when deceased Ajay, a painter by profession, had climbed a jackfruit tree to take the fruit with the help of a bamboo stick near his uncle’s house.

Police and Fire fighting personnel’s rushed to the spot and removed the body of Ajay from the tree.

Deceased is survived by his parents, two brothers and a sister.

Alevoor former gram panchayat president Harish Kini, ZP member Diwakar Kundar, and others visited the family.
