888 Covid-19 cases in DK and Udupi reports 1,392 cases, 5 deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru, Jan 27, 2022: Dakshina Kannada district recorded 888 fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Wednesday. With this the total cases recorded in the district rose to 1,29,934.

 

904 More Covid patients discharged on Wednesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 1,22,878. The district has 5,325 active cases. A total of 1,731 deaths have occurred so far, including 4 on Wednesday.

Udupi

Udupi disrict has reported 1,392 fresh cases on Wednesday, with this total cases recorded in the district rose to 89,773.

The district has 6,662 active cases. As many as 502 patients were discharged on Wednesday. A total of 497 deaths have occured so far, including 1 on Wednesday.
