795 Covid-19 cases in DK, Udupi reports 763 cases; 7 deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru, Jan 23, 2022: Dakshina Kannada district recorded 795 fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday. With this the total cases recorded in the district rose to 1,26,954.

992 More Covid patients discharged on Saturday, taking the total number of recoveries to 1,19,535. The district has 5,700 active cases. A total of 1,719 deaths have occurred so far, including 3 on Saturday.

Udupi disrict has reported 763 fresh cases on Saturday, with this total cases recorded in the district rose to 85,441. The district has 5,988 active cases. As many as 600 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 495 deaths have occured so far, including 4 on Saturday.
