77th birth anniversary of P. Lankesh on March 11

Mangalore, March 9, 2012: The 77th birthday of P. Lankesh, the writer and journalist, will be celebrated in the auditorium of Aloysius P. U. College on March 11 Sunday.

Gauri Lankesh, the editor of Lankesh Patrike, addressed a press conference today and said that various talks and discussions will form part of the event.

 

A play titled Mistake, written by Sadath Hassan Manto, will be performed by Rathabeedi Geleyaru of Udupi.

Devanooru Mahadeva will inaugurate the event and Suresh Bhat Baakrabailu will release the book Panchali. Gauri Lankesh, Ismat Pajeer, Parvateesha, and Doddipalya Narasimhamoorthy were also present.
