6 injured as car crashes into hotel building at Attavar

Mangalore, Nov 16, 2013 :  Six persons travelling in a car sustained injuries when the driver lost control over the vehicle which  crashed into the Hotel South India building near the Beary Academy office at Attavarkatte  in the early hours of November 16, Saturday.

 

 

The mishap occurred at around 4.15 am when the Volkswagen Vento car was on way to Attavar Katte from Attavar Railway Station area. It is learnt, the  driver of the car in a bid  to avert collision with another vehicle, applied brake suddenly and veered to the car to the extreme  right resulting in the mishap. The car was badly mangled in the mishap.

The condition of one of the injured named Mohammad Tahsil is said to be serious.  Three other injured have been identified as Bazid (16), Mohammad Sadaf (17) and Azvad. They have been admitted to Unity Hospital.

Bunder Police rushed to the scene of the accident. A case has been registered.
