5 persons including 4 of family from Kinnikambla die in road mishap near Sirsi

Mangaluru, Dec 09, 2023: Five people including four persons of a family from Dakshina Kannada origin have lost their lives in a horrific collision between a bus and a car near the petrol bunk  at a place called Bandal on the Kumta-Sirsi Highway in Sirsi taluk on Friday.

 

The deceased are Ramakrishna Baburao (71), Vidyalakshmi (67), Pushpa Mohan Rao (62), Suhas Ganesh Rao (30) from Kinnikambla and Aravind (45) of Chennai, the driver of the car.

The family was on way to Sirsi to attend a wedding when tragedy struck. The bus was heading towards Kumta from Sirsi.  There were over 50 passengers in the bus. Some of them have sustained minor injuries.

The car was completely mangled due to the impact of the collision.
