4 injured as tractor-ambulance collide at Thokkottu

Mangalore, July 04, 2014:  Four persons sustained injuries in a collision between a tractor and an ambulance at Thokkottu  late night on July 3, Thursday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The accident occurred when the ambulance which was carrying a patient from Kanhangad in Kerala was heading towards a hospital in Derlakatte. Sources said the head-light of the tractor was off, resulting in the mishap.

The patient Aboobakker sustained serious injuries while two women relatives and the ambulance drive were injured. They are undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

The tractor involved in the accident was also of Kerala registration. Ullal police have registered a case.
