3 engineering students from Kottayam drown in sea at Malpe

Malpe, April 07, 2022: Three students of an engineering College from Kottayam in Kerala drowned in the sea while making merry in the St Mary’s Island on April 7, Thursday.

 

A group of 42 students and two lecturers from the  Mangala Engineering College of Kottayam  had arrived at the St Mary’s Island on Thursday. It has been gathered that the students had entered the water at a dangerous spot.

The deceased have been identified as Alen Reji (22) and Amal C Anil (22). Search is underway for the body of another student named Antony who too has drowned.
