3-day music festival Raga Sudha Rasa 2012 inaugurated in city

Mangalore, 8, 2012: Raga Sudha Rasa 2012, a 3-day music festival, organized by Bharathiya Vidhya Bhavan of Mangalore and Mani Krishnaswami Academy in collaboration with the Kannada and Culture Department, was inaugurated in Ravindra Kala Bhavan of University College on Jan 8 Sunday. 

The event will feature both Carnatic as well as Hindusthani classical music, with Mysore M. Nagaraj, Pattabhiram Pandit, Ustad Rafeeq Khan, Praveen Godkhindi, and Prarthana Sai Narasimhan performing.

 

 

The music festival was inaugurated by Raghavendra Shashtri, the managing trustee of Shri Sharavu Mahaganapathi Temple. 

Sudhakar, the joint secretary of Mani Krishnaswami Academy, and MLC Captain Ganesh Karnik were also present.
