3-day Shri Ramothsava event begins

Mangalore, Mar 31, 2012: The Three days Shri Ramotsava programme, which is jointly organized by Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), Bajrang Dal and Ramotsava committee, at Nehru Maidan started its first day today i.e. March 31 and is expected to go on till the 2nd of april. It was given a start with Seetharama prathishta, Ghana yaga and by hoisting of the flag today morning.

Rotary governor Dr Devdas Rai hoisted the flag and said that Rotary would always support such programmes and wished the organizers success.

Ananta Krishna Bhat, Jitendra Kottari, Gopalakrishna Shenoy, Rajgopal Rai, Manohar Tuljaram, Bajrang Dal leaders Sharan Pumpwell, Harish Amtadi and committee president Pushparaj Jain, secretary Gopal Kuttar were present on the occasion.
