3 accused in Prakash murder case surrender before police

Mangalore, Feb 12, 2013:Three accused in the recent case of murder of Prakash near the NITK at Suratkal  have surrendered before the police, One of them is said to be a juvenile.

Two of the accused have been  identified as  Sharan alias Tea Sharan (24) from Kodikere, Raghunath (42) of Kulshekhar. Police have identified a total of four accused in the case of whom one is still absconding.

The murder took place on February 4 afternoon when the four had dragged Prakash, an accused in Kodikere Shivaraj murder case, out of a moving bus and had hacked him to death on the road even as people watched helplessly.

It has been gathered that the murder was in retaliation to the killing of Shivaraj in July 2012. Police sources also said they were waiting for the right time since one year to kill Prakash.
