3 City Eminent Physicians presented with Life Time Achievement Award

Mangaluru, Jan 20, 2024: The Physicians Day was celebrated by Association of Physicians of India (A.P.I)   D.K. Chapter Mangaluru on 19.01.2024 at I.M.A. Hall Mangaluru A.P.I. President Dr. Prabha Adhikari presided over the function in her address she revealed the aims and objectives of the physicians day and congratulated the awardees for their unique achievements.

 

In commemoration of Physicians Day 3 city based Eminent Physicians Dr. Devdas Rai, Dr. Harold Mascarenhas, Dr. E.V.S. Maben were felicitated in recognition of their yomen service rendered in the field of general medicine and in appreciation of their achievements in medical profession and academic excellence and presented with the prestigious A.P.I. Life Time Achievement Award.

Responding to the felicitations the awardees expressed their deep gratitude towards the A.P.I. committee and members for choosing and honouring them with this prestigious award. On this occasion Dr. Chriostopher Pais, Dr.Sydney D’souza, Dr. Mohan Pai, Dr. Mohammed Ismail were present and performed the award presentation.

On this Occasion a condolence meeting was held in memory of Late Dr. K.R. Shetty, Eminent Neurologist and former principal of K.M.C. Mangalore. Dr. I.G. Bhat, Dr. Joe Varghese, Dr. M.V.Prabhu, Dr. Krishna Murthy recalled their Association and Cordial relation with the Dr. Shetty and paid rich tributes for his achievements in the medical profession and academic field.

Secretary Dr. Haroon Hussain proposed a vote of thanks.
