2nd PUC Results: 86% pass; Alva’s, Expert College students shine as Karnataka toppers

Bengaluru, Apr 9, 2026: The results of the Second PUC Examination-1 for the academic year 2026 have been announced online, recording a strong performance across Karnataka. The overall pass percentage has risen to 86%, a significant jump from last year’s 73.45%.

Out of 7,10,363 students who appeared for the exam, around 6.10 lakh have successfully passed.

In the commerce stream, Disha of Alva’s College, Moodbidri, emerged as the state topper with a perfect score of 600/600.

At Expert College, Nandan Nayak and Samanyu S. Shetty topped with 99.67% each in the science stream. They were followed by Deeksha Shenoy, Aditi I. Reddy, Amogh B. Loka, and Sushan Narayana Billava, who scored 99.33% each.

Chaithrika Chaudhary of Jnanasudha PU College, Karkala, secured 597 marks in science, while Vaishnavi Kulkarni and Anarvi from the same college also scored 597, placing among the top achievers.

In the commerce stream, Prerana Ramachandra Hegde of Creative College, Karkala, excelled with 598 marks, achieving 99.67%.
