26-yr-old woman found hanging at her home in Kasargod

Kasargod, May 25, 2023: A young woman’s life came to a tragic end as she allegedly took her own life by hanging herself at her residence in Adoor. The deceased, identified as Divya (26), was the daughter of Mudda Naik, residing in Chamakochi Annappadi, Adoor.

 

Divya worked as a lab technician at a private hospital in Bandadka and had returned home that morning after completing her night shift on Tuesday. Unfortunately, she chose to end her life while her mother and others were away.

The incident came to light in the evening when local residents arrived at the scene. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she could not be saved.

A suicide note was found in her room, leading the Adoor police station to initiate an investigation involving a young man suspected of involvement in the case. The police received leads suggesting that the man had persistently harassed the young woman through her mobile phone.
