25th All India Konkani Sahitya Sammelan inaugurated

Mangaluru, Nov 04, 2023: The two-day 25th All India Konkani Sahitya Sammelan organised by the Akhila Bharatiya Konkani Parishad was inaugurated by  eminent Hindi poet, critic and scholar Udayan Vajpayee at the Basti Vaman Shenoy Vedike of the Vishwa Konkani Kendra at Shaktinagar on November 4, Saturday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In his address, he said the different languages spoken by people across India promote unity along with cultural diversity.

Senior writer Hema Naik presided over the conference.

 Michael D’Souza, Reception Committee President, Arun Ubhyakar, President of Akhila Bharath Konkani Parishad, Nandagopal Shenoy, Vice President of the Parishad, Working President H M Pernal and others were present.

Various events and sessions will be held as part of the two-day conference.
