2 yr old child falls off moving train, dies

Bhatkal, June 1, 2013 : A holiday tour of two families from Gujarat turned tragic when a two year old child  accidentally fell off the window of the moving train  and lost life on May 31, Friday morning. The mishap took place when the Kerala bound Viraval Express was passing near the Kadvinkatta dam  near Bhatkal.

 

Two year old Naman who was with his father Kaushal near the emergency window, accidentally fell off and landed on the ground. Kaushal immediately pulled the chain and stopped the train. The child though was rushed to the hospital was declared brought dead.

The families of Kaushal and Chethan hailing from Anand district of Gujarat were on a tour to Trivendrum when the  mishap took place.

Bhatkal police have registered a case.
