2 workers die in well wall collapse

Mangalore, May 1, 2012: Four workers were working inside a 20-feet deep well at Haleyangadi Junction when the wall of the well collapsed on them. Two of them died on the spot, but two managed to survive. 

The deceased are Sayed (65) of Mukka and Madhanappa (22) of Gangawati in Uttar Kannada. While Madanappa’s body has been retrieved, Sayed’s body is yet to be retrieved. 

The Mulky police visited the site. 

Currently, attempts are being made to find and retrieve Sayed’s body.
