2 rowdy sheeters murdered in Moodushedde

Mangalore, Nov 11, 2011: Two rowdy sheeters were discovered dead near Shivanagara Devi Temple in Moodushedde on Nov 11 Friday at 1:30 p.m. They are Murugesh and Upendra, who were wanted in the Vamanjoor Rohi murder case. 


It may be recalled that a notorious rowdy called Vamanjoor Rohi aka Vamanjoor Rohidas Shetty was murdered at Jyothinagar in Vamanjoor on July 5, 2009.

The two were killed with a sickle. While one of them died on the spot, the other died on the way to hospital. Reportedly, Upendra, an auto rickshaw driver of Koppa, was planning to wear the Aiyappa Mala next Wednesday. 


Mangalore Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh and DCP Muthuraya arrived on the spot along with a team of police officers and a dog squad. 


The police have nabbed the driver of the auto rickshaw used by the murderers and are currently interrogating him.
