2 new train services from Mangalore to be flagged off very soon

Mangalore, Feb 12, 2014:  Mangalore gets two new trains in the Railway Budget  for 2013-14 presented by Union Railway Minister Mallikarjun Kharge. Both the trains are likely to be flagged  off either on February 23 or 24.

The new trains are Mangalore -Madgaon Inter City (daily) and the weekly train Mangalore-Kacheguda train via Coimbatore, Reninta and Gooty.

The Mangalore-Tiruchirapalli Express train has already been extended to Puduchery as announced earlier. The other trains for the region include Diesel Electric Multiple Unit service between  Bhatkal and Thokur.
