2 dead, another critical in Maruti Omni- bus collision at Pavanje

Haleyangady, April 22, 2022: Two persons  lost their lives and one person was critically injured in a head-on collision between their Maruti Omni and a private bus on the NH 66 at Pavanje in Mulki Police station limits on April 21, Thursday night.

 

The deceased are Vasantha(64) and Bhujanga (62). The injured K Balakrishna has been hospitalised. All those travelling in the  Maruti Omni were from Padre in Mukka.

The mishap occurred when the Maruti Omni was taking  a turn towards Padre. The bus on way to Udupi from Mangaluru rammed into the car killing two of its passengers on the spot.
