2-day workshop on human resources inaugurated

Mangalore, Mar 30, 2012: Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the Madhava Shenoy Memorial State Level Conference on Human Resources: Values and Propositions held at Roshni Nilaya School of Social Work on Friday, DC Dr. N. S. Channappa Gowda said that it is one’s service to society and not one’s position that counts.

Besides speaking on the importance of human resource, Dr. Gowda also provided valuable information on various concepts of utilizing human resources in countries such as Singapore. 

Quoting Gandhi, he said that the rich can purchase service, but when the poor are served, one gets prayers, which are far more valuable, in return. 

This workshop will be held on Saturday too.
