18 yr girl missing from Kukkundoor

Karkala, May 7, 2013: An 18 year old girl named Rakshitha  has been reported missing from her residence at LIG Housing Colony at Kukkundoor in the taluk.

In a case of missing registered with the police, her mother Manjula (40),  stated that Rakshitha who had left   home on May 4 morning to collect the national entrance test form from Manipal, did not return.

The search for the girl in the houses of friends and acquaintances went in vain.

The girl was last seen wearing  a black kurta with white flower prints and  black leggings. She was also wearing a gold chain with a golden pendant,ear rings and a finger ring.

Rakshitha who is four feet eight inches tall knows Kannada, Hindi and English languages. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of the girl can contact Karkala police station(08258-230213), or district police office (0820-2534777)
