18-Year-Old Girl Goes Missing in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, April 20, 2025: An 18-year-old girl, Yallamma, daughter of Shivaputrappa from Koppal and a resident of Kattapuni in Bajal, has been missing since April 14.

According to sources, Yallamma’s father had left for daily wage work in Azad Nagar, Ullal, at 7 am, while her mother also went to work as usual. Yallamma was reportedly alone at home during this time. When her parents returned in the evening, they found the house locked from the outside, and Yallamma was nowhere to be found. The lock handle was found lying nearby, and her mobile phone was switched off.

The family has conducted extensive searches but has been unable to trace her.

Yallamma is described as being around 4 feet tall, with an oily black complexion, a stout build, and a round face. She was last seen wearing a churidar and speaks Kannada.

The Kankanady Town Police have urged anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to come forward and contact the police station.
