172nd birth anniversary of Brahmashree Narayana Guru, Varamahalakshmi Puja celebrated at Kudroli Temple

Mangaluru, Aug 29, 2026: The 172nd birth anniversary of Brahmashree Narayana Guru, the founder of Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha Kshetra, along with the Varamahalakshmi Puja, was celebrated at the temple on Friday.

The programme began at 8.45 am with a mass prayer, followed by a special abhisheka to Goddess Annapoorneshwari at 9 am. Kalasha Pratishthapana was subsequently held at the Gokarnanatha Kalyana Mantapa.

Kshetra administration committee president Jairaj H Somundaram, treasurer Padmaraj R Poojary, former president H S Sairam, committee members, members of the Kshetra Development Committee and a large number of devotees participated in the celebrations.

A large number of women devotees also visited the temple to take part in the Varamahalakshmi Puja celebrations.
