14 people injured when bus dashes into Scorpio

Kasargod, Sep 9, 2012: Around 14 people were injured when the Kasargod to Uduma KSRTC Malabar bus they were travelling in dashed into a Scorpio car and then turned over on the Chaliyangodu State Highway on September 8, Saturday at around half past four in the evening.

Reportedly, the driver lost control over the bus. 

Some of the injured are Farida of Uppala, her son Amir Khan, and his daughter Shabna, Rama of Ashoknagar, Vichitra of Kanhangad, Bhargavi of Kalnad, Sabitha, and Radhakrishna, who were on the bus, and Shukoor, Hussain, and Shakir, who were on the Scorpio. 

The local people, with the help of fire fighting personnel, helped shift the injured to various hospitals. 

The Kasargod police have registered a case.
