136 new Covid-19 positive cases in DK and 79 cases in Udupi on October 24

Mangaluru, October 25, 2020: 136 people from Dakshina Kannada (DK) and 79 from Udupi tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday, October 25, 2020. Three more Covid-19 fatalities were recorded in DK district. As many as 300 patients in DK and 173 in Udupi were discharged from hospital.

With this the total Covid 19 positive cases in the DK district rose to 29,401. As many as 26,125 persons have been discharged and 2,616 cases are currently active. 660 deaths have occurred till date.

Udupi district has reported 79 fresh cases on Saturday. With this total positive cases rose to 21,431 cases with 1,314 still being treated at the designated hospitals. 19,927 patients recovered and discharged. The district has reported 178 COVID-19 fatality.
