12 yr boy ends life after mother refuses money to buy biscuits

Mangalore, Sep 20, 2013 : In a shocking incident, a 12 year old boy has reportedly ended his life by hanging himself after his mother refused to   give him money to  buy biscuits.

The incident took place at Kinyalaguttu in Kundapur on September 18, Wednesday.

The deceased boy is Adarsh (12), a class seven student of  Kolya Joyland English Medium School. He was the son of Vinoda who worked as a maid at Kinya Sharada Vidyalaya and Srinivas who worked in a fishing boat.

It is said that on Wednesday evening, Adarsh who returned home from school  began to pester his mother for money to buy biscuits.  Bu when she refused, the boy reportedly hanged himself.

Ullal police have registered a case.
