113th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Beedi Works Founder Observed in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Feb 9, 2026: The 113th birth anniversary of Manjunath Pai, founder of Bharat Beedi Works Private Limited, manufacturers of the popular 30 Mark beedis, was observed at the company’s central office here.

Addressing the gathering, Executive Director Subraya M. Pai traced the institution’s journey and highlighted the founder’s contributions to society and his far-sighted vision. Officials from various banks also shared their views on the occasion. Ramesh Pai, Nippani, paid rich tributes to the founder.

Chartered Accountant C.A. Shivananda Pai welcomed the gathering and delivered the introductory remarks, outlining the growth and progress of the organisation over the years.

The programme was attended by directors Nagendra D. Pai, Anand G. Pai, Venkatesh M. Pai and Export Marketing Division Administrative Officer Abhishek N. Pai. Director Sudhir M. proposed the vote of thanks.
