11-year-old dies after stepping on broken high-tension wire

Bantwal, Oct, 30, 2012 : An 11-year-old boy was electrocuted by a high-tension wire in Vittla Padnoor, Bantwal on Monday.

 

 

The child was on his way back home after playing with his friends.

The residents say that negligence on the part of Mescom is responsible for this tragedy. They alleged that the high-tension wire had broken on Sunday and was lying on the ground ever since.

Mescom officials and police personnel visited the place.
