Mangalore Today News Network

Sullia, July 17, 2025: Gangavathi MLA Gali Janardhan Reddy made a bold statement in Kunjadi, Sullia, claiming that Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will resign by November.

“Devaraj Urs held the post of CM for the longest time in the state. Siddaramaiah will step down after surpassing Urs’s tenure by just one day. Siddaramaiah had reportedly made a deal with the high command. During the Sandur by-election, I had said that D.K. Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah had agreed on a 50-50 power-sharing arrangement. As part of that deal, D.K. Shivakumar has already started laying the groundwork to take over. As per my sources, Siddaramaiah will resign and hand over the Chief Minister’s post to D.K. Shivakumar.”

“And if not voluntarily, Shivakumar will forcefully claim the chair. There should be no doubt about that—he is eager to grab power.”

BJP Will Return to Power in Karnataka: Reddy

Reddy also predicted a strong comeback for the BJP in Karnataka, stating:

“As per the party’s decision, we will all unite to bring BJP back to power in the next elections. Internal group politics in BJP will be dealt with by the party leadership. BJP is a disciplined party, and the high command issues clear directions regarding organisation and leadership.”
