"Shoodra Shiva" –title of play on Shree Narayana Guru ideals unveiled

Mangaluru, Nov 07, 2022: "Shoodra Shiva" which is the title of the play on the messages of Brahmashree Narayana Guru , to be directed by Viddu Uchil was unveiled at a ceremony held at Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha Kshetra on November 6, Sunday by senior Billawa leader and former union minister B Janardhana Poojary.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, he said there was a need to  enlighten the people on the ideals and principles of Sri Narayana Guru. He also wished success to the  theatrical experiment "Shoodra Shiva" aimed at propagating the ideals of the great saint philosopher.

 R Padmaraj, Treasurer of Kudroli shrine presided over the function which was inaugurated by the Temple Committee Vice President Urmila Ramesh Kumar.

Rudra Theatre has selected 21 artistes for this theatrical experiment. A 40 day practice session will be held following which the troupe will travel across the state for two months to present the play. The play will be of two hour duration.
