Youth who believed Modi’s job promise are now repenting: Congress leader M B Patil

Mangaluru, Sep 26, 2022: The youth are repenting their action of supporting Prime Minister Modi who promised them job opportunities, said KPCC Publicity Committee President M B Patil.

 

 

 

 

Speaking to reporters at the Congress Office here on September 26, Monday, he said  the Congress will expose the failures of the BJP. He also stated that the  Congress has contributed enormously to the nation in the past 70 years.

He said in 2014 Modi came to power in the name of change and Achhe Din. As per Modi’s promise of creating 2 crore job opportunities, now there ought to have been 16 crore job opportunities in eight years. However many have lost their  jobs and unemployment has reached record levels, Patil said.

He also exuded confidence that the Congress would come to power in the next election.

DCC Chief Harish Kumar, MLC Manjunath Bhandari, former district youth Congress president Mithun Rai, former MLAs J R Lobo, Moidin Bava, Shakuntala Shetty, former MLC Ivan D’Souza were present.
