ayesha13oct29 1Mangalore, Oct 29, 2013: A women registered a cheating case against a visa agent in Pandeshwar police station, for not paying her dues for her work in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking at a press meet held at Press Club on Oct 29, Tuesday, complainant Ayesha, hailing from Miyapadavu of Kasargod said that around 11 months back she visited Khader, visa agent of Iklas Travels, Bunder, who had given a free visa for a period of six months to work in his sister-in-law’s house in Saudi Arabia.

She also said that after visiting Saudi, the house owner Abdullah Abdulaziz Abdullah Altwajri made me to work for nearly 8 months, without paying a single penny. During the time she left to Saudi, her daughter was ill; the owner did not even allow her to attend the phone call from home or allowed her to go back, when her daughter’s condition worsened.

Ayesha said that when she requested the owner to send her back to her house, in return he asked her to transfer the amount of Rs 2 lakhs in his account. However, she got in touch with my daughter’s fiancé Mohammed Aslam Haideroskutty who resides in Dubai and requested him to transfer the amount of Rs 1.25 lakhs to house owners account. They not even helped with the return ticket to India; instead Aslam had to buy the ticket also.

After returning from Saudi three months back, with the help of relatives and neighbours I contacted Khader and asked for the salary, but he refused to do so and challenged me to do whatever I wish.

Khader cheated by not paying 8 months’ salary and taking the amount of Rs 1.25 lakhs from her. In this regard she has also sent an appeal to police commissioner and the home minister.

M G Hegde urged police department to take stringent action against the accused.

Jyothika Jain, Rashid Kunjathoor and Ibrahim were also present at the press meet.
