Ullal man tries to create panic by lying that he was chased with machetes

Mangaluru, Aug 03, 2022: An incident wherein a man tried to create panic by falsely stating that someone chased him with a machete and tried to attack him, took place at Ullal police station limits on Wednesday morning. City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar has said stern action will be taken against the man named Kishore of Uchila for spreading false rumours.
It is learnt Kishore had said that someone followed him and tried to attack him witha machete at K C Nagar Mullugudde on Wednesday morning. Police immediately rushed to the spot and questioned him when he confessed that he lied.
