Udupi : No solution in sight for college Hijab row

Udupi, Jan 13, 2022: The Hijab row that has cropped up at the Udupi Government Girls’ Pre-University College, has failed to subside. As many as eight students who have been denied entry into the class for wearing Hijab have been  sitting outside the classroom since the past several days.

 

If three students each are from second PUC Commerce and Science Streams, one each are from I PUC science and commerce streams.

The students say they have been sitting on the stairs outside the classroom and completing pending notes after securing the same from their friends.

The principal however claimed that the issue has been sorted out and that the parents of the students have agreed that their children would follow the college rules.
