Two electric buggies catch fire at Pilikula Nisargadhama

Mangaluru, October 30, 2024: Two electric buggies at the Pilikula Nisargadhama went up in flames and were charred in an accidental fire while charging on Wednesday morning.

The mishap took place near the ticket counter of the Nisargadhama. One of the buggies was kept for charging at the workshop here and the spark ignited while charging resulted in the fire that damaged two vehicles completely.

The Nisargadhama has over 10 buggies for the benefit of visitors. It is said there was a delay in the arrival of fire tender vehicles from Kadri station and the Pilikula staff themselves doused the fire.
