Spike in Covid cases : Tough measures in place in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru, May 07, 2021:        The district administration has initiated strict measures beginning from today  in the wake of the rising Covid cases. As people were allowed to buy essentials only from 6 am to 9 am, people were  seen in large number in front of grocery shops and other shops to buy vegetables, meat and other essential items.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The district administration has already made it clear that there will be total  lockdown on Saturday and Sunday as  it was inevitable to check the huge spike in Covid cases.

Police personnel were seen on various roads of the city ensuring no one  stepped out unnecessarily. The district administration at a meeting held on Thursday evening had decided to initiate strict curbs.
