Speeding Scorpio fatally knocks down pedestrian

Sullia, Sep 06, 2023: A pedestrian lost his life when a speeding Scorpio vehicle knocked him down  at Adkaru on the Maani-Mysuru Highway on September 5, Tuesday afternoon.

 

Death


The deceased is Annappa (40), a labourer of Hubballi-Dharwad origin. He worked in the plantation of  Abdul of Jalsur.

The Scorpio vehicle which Anil of Kasargod Bandyadka was driving was on way to Kasargod from Udupi when it went out of control of the driver and hit Annappa.

It may be recalled here that in another accident that took place close to this area recently, three labourers had lost their lives when a speeding vehicle knocked them down while they were standing on the roadside.
