Sanidhya student who won medals at Special Olympic Summer Games honoured

Mangaluru, July 04, 2023: Harish V, a student of Sanidhya Residential School and Training Centre for the Mentally Disabled, who won three gold medals and one silver medal in power lifting at the Special Olympic Summer Games 2023 held at Berlin in Germany recently was felicitated at a function held at Mini Town Hall in the city.

 

 

 

Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan honoured Harish and said he was an inspiration to many other differently abled people. Bringing up such children is a big challenge to the parents and Harish’s parents must be appreciated for all their efforts in helping their son achieve success, the DC said.

Coaches Premanath Ullal, Saraswathi Putran and Vishal were honoured on the occasion.

SP Rishyanth, City Bus Operators’ Association President Jayasheela Adyantaya, Mayor Jayananda Anchan, Sanidhya Administrative Officer Vasanth Kumar Shetty, Ganesh Seva Trust President Mahabala Maarla and others were present.
