Kaup, Nov 09, 2022: A 75 year old retired headmaster has  died after accidentally falling into a gorge while on the way to his sister’s house at Innanje.

The deceased is Ramadas Shivathaya. He had left home on November 6 and was missing since then following which  his nephew had lodged a complaint with the Manipal police.

CCTV footages later revealed that Ramadas had been to Sri Vishnumurthi Temple at Undaru. On a search it was found that he had died in the gorge.
