Prohibitory orders in 5 taluks extended till August 6 midnight

Mangaluru, July 29, 2022: Prohibitory orders under Section 144 have been extended in Bantwal, Sullia, Belthangady, Puttur and Kadaba taluks coming under DK Police limits, till August 6 midnight as a precautionary measure in the wake of the murder of BJP Yuva Morcha Member Praveen Nettaru at Bellare on July 26.
The Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Dr K V Rajendra has issued an order to this effect. The measure has been taken as the earlier order enforcing prohibitory orders will end midnight today.
