Mangaluru, Jun 5, 2023: Kishan Shetty, the groom who mysteriously disappeared during his mehendi program, has been located. On the afternoon of Sunday, June 4th, Kishan made a call to his younger sister, revealing that he was in Ballari and had no intentions of returning home. He even turned off his mobile phone. Although his parents were relieved to hear from him, they remained concerned about his actions.

 

During the call, Kishan informed his sister that he had left his scooter in front of the RTO office at Melkar and would not be returning home indefinitely. Despite his sister’s attempts to engage him in conversation, he abruptly ended the call and powered off his phone. Distressed by the situation, Kishan’s sister informed their father, who promptly reported the matter to the Konaje police.

Authorities began searching for Kishan’s mobile phone signal, which indicated that he was in the rural areas of Ballari. However, the location kept changing every half an hour, adding to the challenge of locating the groom. The police have been alerted and are actively working towards pinpointing his exact whereabouts.

On May 31st, Kishan went missing while out buying fruits for his mehendi program, sparking various rumors. He is the son of Aithappa Shetty, a local entrepreneur from Devandapadpu. Although Kishan had been in a relationship with a girl from a different caste during his college days, he recently became engaged to another girl.

Reportedly, the girl with whom Kishan was previously involved threatened to harm herself if he married someone else or attended the wedding ceremony, vowing to expose their love story to the public. 

Furthermore, it has come to light that the girl he was involved with has filed a complaint with the city commissioner of police, accusing Kishan of deceit. She detailed the situation in a three-page complaint. According to sources, Kishan had shown little interest in communicating with his bride-to-be after their engagement, as shared by his friends. The situation has taken an unexpected turn, and only the truth will be revealed once the police locate Kishan and interrogate him in person.
