M V Nair and Venkat Endowment Fund launched for children of constables

Mangaluru, May 27, 2022: The MV Nair and Venkat Endowment Fund for the children of police constables was launched at a ceremony held at the Aloysius College here on May 27, Friday by ADGP (Law and Order) Alok Kumar.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Speaking on the occasion the ADGP urged students to strive hard to earn success in life.

City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar, DCP (Law and Order) Hariram Shanker, Rector of Aloysius Institutions Fr Melwin J Pinto, Principal Dr Praveen Martis, Registrar Alwyn D’Sa and others were present.

M V Nair is an alumni of Aloysius College and  son of a head constable M K R Nair who retired from service in 1980. He along with his colleague Venkat has  initiated this fund by donating Rs 1 crore.

Nair who was present at the function said they will donate more in case there are more beneficiaries.
