Kasaragod, July 31, 2022: Two passengers were injured when miscreants pelted stones at Mangalore-Kannur and Mangalore-Thiruvanpur trains at Aerial and Cherangai in Kasaragod on Friday evening.
The passengers informed the railway police that they saw five boys running away throwing stones.
A few days ago stones have been kept on the railway track in 7 places like Bandyodu Muttam in Kasaragod district, Koti Kulam near Bekal and Poppinasheri in Kannur district.
But the employees of the department knew the information and cleared the stone and avoided a potential disaster.
