Mangaluru, Mar 03, 2021: Former MLA J R Lobo has demanded an apology from Mysuru MP Pratap Simha for the offensive statement made by him regarding the Christian community.
"The MP at a KDP meeting had said that those wearing a cross in their neck should not be given facilities. What is the crime in wearing a cross? It is a symbol of a community," Lobo said at a press meet at the Congress office on March 3, Wednesday.
Expressing his anguish about the MP’s statement, Lobo demanded his apology and said Pratap Simha was unfit to be an MP.
